The economic slump has reined in a number of development projects hence straining the landscape of the cities across the globe. Due to that, the Flien Development in collaboration with Squared Design came up with the Eco Pods Architectural Design with Robotic Arms filled with bio-fuel producing algae in downtown Boston.

The concept of Eco Pods Architectural Design with Robotic Arms features arms that work in an electronic device that resembles a human being operated automatically or by remote control. This mechanism rearranges the pods to other positions thus ensuring the best possible growing condition for the algae. The Eco Pods Architectural Design is intended to inform people that there is potential in micro-algae when used as a bio-fuel.

It will act as a research incubator where scientists will use it to examine species of algae and ways of fuel extraction. The Eco Pods Architectural Design with Robotic Arms module can be placed in various places around Boston thus filling empty sites, examining new proposals and creating initiatives with other communities hence meeting the escalating energy requirements.
