Samsung P3 Portable Multimedia player announced

Samsung is the leading company in consumer electronics today. They have recently announced their new award winning P3 portable multimedia player, which is the 2009 CES Innovations Design and Engineering Award winner.
Samsung P3 PMP comes with a 3 inch WQVGA TFT LCD display. The P3 allows users to view video and photos in 16:9 aspect ratio. It also includes the upgraded EmoTure touchscreen interface that allows the P3 to respond to a range of command gestures like swiping fingers, digital button hold down for fast forwarding, switching back to audio tracks and a lot more.

With this player, we’ve combined easy multimedia playback with a beautiful high-end design you’ll want to show off,” said Reid Sullivan, vice president of Audio/Video and Digital Imaging Marketing, Samsung Electronics America. “Whether it’s the P3’s sharp and bright 3-inch touch screen for video and photos or the advanced user interface, consumers will be guaranteed a more personal entertainment experience.”

Samsung hasn’t released pricing details for the P3 just yet but its expected to hit the market in 4GB, 8GB, 16GB and 32 GB storage capacities by first half of 2009.
